We start with the introduction to “THE SLIGHT EDGE” in this we are given a couple short but astonishingly enlightening stories that over the period of reading the rest of the book become more and more apparent and focused in our minds. “The shoeshine lady” and “The beach bum” may at first seem a little of the wall but when you dig a little and understand the meaning behind the few paragraphs of these people; you begin to understand the next but ultimately the most important bit “if only”, by this I mean and hopefully so did Jeff Olson, that by some quirk of fate or destiny or something like that or the but for the grace of god go I, well that’s what we would naturally think anyway if we came across a poor little old lady shining shoes or a beach bum seeming to waste their lives away, but this strictly is not true because no matter where we come from in the world or what sort of schooling or upbringing we had the “if only” is down to us.

We are what matters, we are the difference, we alone can change our lives and be successful but only if we want to.

Myself for instance, once I used to have a full time JOB (or Just Over Broke) working hard to make my money last until the end of the month, until I learned through experience that its not luck or just happening to be in the right place at the right time but actually my own attitude towards life, you can work hard just to live but if you work hard and smart you can have a life of fulfilment; accept failure, learn from it and change then move on, using principles like the slight edge I have found my direction was at first o.k. but I did not really learn from mistakes fully so eventually my overall direction was actually off!

But now I know how to evaluate my actions, learn from them and keep my direction on the path I desire.
I work hard advertising internet business marketing, working and making money online, earning that extra income I desire.
